We hope you enjoyed our very well attended Open Morning and Evening events.  If you missed them, you will find lots of information below which may help to answer any queries you may have.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you.

We are very excited to announce a brand new Performing Arts Scholarship criteria. Please see the document below for more information.

To apply for a place on the Performing Arts Scholarship you must complete the Shirley High School Performing Arts Scholarship Application Form by clicking here along with the Croydon Application Form (CAF) - available in September 2021.

The Performing Arts Scholarship Application Form must be submitted by Sunday 31 October 2021.

Workshops will be held on Saturday 13 November 2021.  Information will be sent after the closing date Sunday 31 October 2021.

Weekly tours of the school with Principal Mr Myton (by appointment only) are available each Thursday at 9.00am. Please email to book a place.



Unsuccessful applicants will be offered a formal right of appeal

Arrangement for Appeals:

Parents have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel if they are dissatisfied with a decision made by the Admission Authority. Appeals are conducted in accordance with the Code of Practice on School Admission Appeals published by the Department for Education. The determination of the appeal panel is binding on all parties. Shirley High School will provide guidance for parents about how the appeals process works. The contact for the appeal panel is the Admissions Department at the school. Appeals must be lodged with the Admissions Department at the school by the date specified on the Appeal Form below.
